What you'll do 

As an Embedded Software Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for both new and existing products. You will define specifications, design and develop software and implement unit and integration tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software solutions.

Working in a cross-functional development environment, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in Electronics, Testing, Cloud & App Software, and Product Management to develop innovative products and connected solutions. You will actively participate in design reviews, contribute to technical decisions, and help drive continuous improvements across products and development processes.

You will support the entire product lifecycle, from development and release to maintenance and enhancements. By troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving software-related issues, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality, performance, and long-term success.

You will be part of a collaborative team of five colleagues based in Växjö, contributing to the development of innovative products and solutions.

 Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent demonstrated work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded software development 
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in embedded C development
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Willingness and interest in learning Swedish 

We also value experience in

• developing software for bare-metal and/or RTOS-based systems
• writing requirements/systems engineering
• working with and developing software tests for automated testing
• wireless communication protocols (CAN, BLE, etc.)
• Cyber security for embedded systems
• power electronics
