Embedded Software Engineer to aviation communications assignment

We’re now looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our customer’s development organisation in Lyngby, Denmark. You’ll be part of a skilled, international environment working with advanced communication systems where reliability, performance and safety are key.

What will you do?

As Embedded Software Engineer, you will work hands-on with the development of software for complex embedded systems used in aviation communication. Your work will help ensure that the software is reliable, secure and fit for use in critical applications. In practice, this means you will:

• Develop and maintain embedded software for products used in demanding, safety-focused environments

• Work across the software development life cycle, from requirements and design to implementation, testing and documentation

• Collaborate closely with other engineers in an agile team to design, integrate and improve system functionality

• Contribute to robust, secure and well-structured solutions that meet regulatory and documentation requirements

• Support continuous improvement of ways of working, tools and technical solutions

Who are we looking for?

You have a structured, detail-focused and disciplined way of working, enjoy solving complex technical problems and like collaborating closely with others in a team setting. You are someone who learns quickly. You’re also comfortable taking responsibility, can work independently when needed to drive your work forward.

You also have:

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field (or equivalent experience)

• Experience in embedded software development, using C and/or C++ and other

  modern tools and technologies.

• Experience working with data communication, network protocols and larger code bases

• Familiarity with requirements-driven design and validation processes

• The ability to understand both detailed technical aspects and the broader system perspective
