Cybersecurity Method Developer

In this role you will define, harmonize and implement cybersecurity methods in an automotive environment. You will work cross-functionally in close collaboration with method users (such as testers and developers) as well as tool developers, with a strong focus on creating consistent ways of working across engineering, quality and compliance.

• Define cybersecurity methods by collecting experience and performing deep-dive analyses of user needs.
• Develop and document methods clearly and systematically in dialogue with key stakeholders.
• Identify tool needs and support tool development by defining functional specifications when required.
• Drive harmonization and alignment of cybersecurity methods across engineering, quality and compliance.
• Ensure consistent application of methods across the organization.
• Implement methods through teaching, coaching and stakeholder enablement.
• Maintain, challenge and continuously improve existing methods and frameworks.

• University degree in a relevant technical field.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong background in software development, preferably in embedded systems, or equivalent technical experience.
• Extensive automotive cybersecurity expertise, including ISO/SAE 21434 and UN-ECE R155 (CSMS).
• Experience with Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
• Experience with cybersecurity concept development and requirements engineering.
• Experience integrating cybersecurity across the automotive lifecycle (development, production and post-production).
• Understanding of risk-based management systems such as ISO 27001 and ISO 9001.

• UN-ECE R156 (Software Update Management Systems).
• ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and its interface with cybersecurity.
• Experience with supplier cybersecurity interfaces (e.g., CS-DIA).
• Experience supporting type-approval processes.
• Participation in audits or certification assessments.
