The role

As Global Demand and Supply Planning Manager, you lead the mid-term planning process (2–18/24 months) and ensure one aligned, data-driven plan across all regions and product groups. You own global demand and supply planning governance, influence decisions that balance service levels and cost efficiency, and guide transformation toward standardized processes. Acting as a connector between Sales, Finance, Product Management, and Procurement, you make sure decisions are transparent and data-driven. You also coach and empower a diverse team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do

• Shape global planning strategies that align demand, supply, and inventory goals.
• Champion transformation and process standardization across regions.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and lead discussions on trade-offs and capacity constraints.
• Coach and develop planners and analysts, strengthening forecasting and planning capabilities.
• Anticipate risks, lead scenario planning, and ensure resilience in a dynamic market.

Location and flexibility

The location for this role is flexible, but preferably in Fagersta, Sweden or Pune, India, as the team is primarily based at these sites. Frequent travel to these locations is required, and we offer a hybrid work setup.

You have extensive experience in global demand and supply planning and S&OP processes, with strong proficiency in Advanced Planning Systems (APS), ERP platforms, and BI tools. You’re skilled at interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable scenarios. Your ability to align cross-functional stakeholders and manage capacity planning ensures sustainable growth and profitability.
