Senior UX Lead – Information Architecture

You will join a next-generation intranet program within Strategy & Communications, focused on creating a modern, personalized, and scalable digital workplace. The initiative will unify an existing intranet landscape into one coherent experience that supports global alignment while enabling strong local relevance.

The assignment is in a critical phase where a future-proof information architecture needs to be defined, addressing complexity across global vs. local content, role-based personalization, and consolidation of duplicated structures. You will act as a senior UX/IA authority, bringing clarity, scalability, and long-term sustainability to the intranet foundation.

• Define and document the global backbone information architecture, including top navigation, content domains, and structural principles
• Design a scalable model for site/factory hubs as a key personalization dimension
• Develop a role-based personalization framework aligned with defined use cases (e.g., white-collar, blue-collar, managers, content editors)
• Establish principles for separation between global and local content
• Develop taxonomy and metadata models to support filtering, targeting, and governance
• Create mappings from current intranet structures to the future-state information architecture
• Facilitate information architecture workshops with global and local stakeholders across multiple markets
• Document, visualize, and communicate IA decisions clearly to both business and IT audiences
• Translate IA principles into navigation blueprints and sitemaps
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and structural flows to validate IA decisions where needed
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Technical Architects to ensure platform feasibility
• Support definition of content governance and ownership models
• Ensure personalization logic (role + site/factory) is reflected in UX patterns
• Drive discussions on consolidation, simplification, and long-term maintainability

• Senior experience (8–10+ years) in UX with a strong focus on Information Architecture in large enterprise environments
• Proven experience designing intranet or digital workplace information architecture for organizations with 20,000+ employees
• Experience working in global organizations with local business units or factories
• Experience designing personalization frameworks (role-based and/or location-based)
• Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops in complex organizational landscapes
• Strong documentation and visualization skills (e.g., sitemaps, flows, IA blueprints)
• Experience collaborating closely with business, UX, and IT stakeholders
• Fluent in English

• Swedish language skills
• Experience working with Staffbase or similar intranet platforms
• Experience from manufacturing or industrial environments
• Experience consolidating multiple intranet platforms into a single architecture
• Understanding of employee experience and internal communications
