Do you want to work with savings and non‑financial risk in an organisation focused on continuous improvement?
Swedbank is now looking for a Risk Manager to support a strong risk culture and contribute to the ongoing development in the savings area.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:Play an active role in ongoing non‑financial risk management within the savings area, covering investments, pensions, insurance and advisory services
Support leaders and colleagues in their day‑to‑day work with non‑financial risks, including incident handling, processes and controls, and model risk management, while helping to build a high level of risk maturity and a strong, learning‑oriented risk culture
Carry out continuous risk assessments and contribute to well‑informed decision‑making
Work closely with change owners and managers, supporting processes such as New Product Approval (NPAP) within savings, advisory, investments, pensions and insurance
Provide risk management support related to MiFID and IDD requirements
Collaborate with risk owners in the business to identify risks, define mitigating actions, and follow up on progress
A relevant academic degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) or equivalent experience
Knowledge of MiFID and IDD regulations, and an understanding of how they influence compliance, risk management and customer experience within banking
A good understanding of universal banking; experience from complex advisory environments is an advantage
Several years of relevant work experience, preferably within non‑financial risk management or compliance
Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and a risk‑based, solution‑oriented mindset
Experience in improving and implementing structures and processes
Confidence and experience in working with senior stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to support business development and find new solutions
Fluency in both written and spoken Swedish and English
