This is a strategic, business‑driven role with a strong focus on global resource workload and capacity management. Your mission is to secure visibility, structure, and decision-making around how engineering, project, and service resources are planned, allocated, and prioritized across regions.
You will drive a global workload management process, lead the implementation of a resource management tool, and ensure consistent short‑ and long‑term visibility on resource availability, utilization, and capacity gaps. The position is based in Västerås, Sweden or Krakow, Poland.

How you’ll make an impact
- Maintain and optimize the global S&OP process to support data‑driven decisions on workforce sizing, workload distribution, and resource capacity.
- Define, implement, and secure global adoption of a standardized workload management process for engineering and project activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Engineering Management to ensure accurate backlog, forecast, and resource pipeline data.
- Provide short‑term (3 weeks) and long‑term (18 months) consolidated visibility on resource allocation, utilization, and capacity load balance.
- Lead recurring governance forums, including bi‑weekly resource prioritization meetings and monthly S&OP reviews.
- Escalate unresolved mismatches between resource supply and demand, ensuring clear prioritization and follow-up on mitigation plans.
- Define, implement, and monitor KPIs such as utilization ratio, underload/overload index, forecast accuracy, attrition rate, and project staffing compliance.
- Act as a change leader, promoting best practices in resource and capacity management and enabling continuous improvement across regions and functions.
Your background
- Proven experience in global S&OP or similar roles with a strong focus on resource workload and capacity planning.
- Solid understanding of resource planning, workload modelling, and capacity allocation processes.
- Familiarity with resource management tools, planning systems, and ERP platforms.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills in a global matrix environment.
- Knowledge of energy control systems (SCADA, EMS, DMS) is a strong plus.
- PMO experience, including structuring WBS/CBS to connect resource needs with tenders and project budgets.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including load/unload analysis, KPI design, and performance monitoring.
- Ability to drive change across diverse teams with a focus on digital resource management and process automation.
