Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

• Experience Required: over 8 years of relevant experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Migration Specialist, with skills as SQL Developer or Data Analyst with 3–6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SQL, SSIS, DMS, DMA and Power Query, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid educational background in Computer Science or related fields. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, development, and optimization of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions.

• Analyze, prepare, and execute data cleansing services.
• Lead and manage data mappings from source systems to target systems.
• Perform data cleansing, data transformation, and data conversion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve issues during data migration.
• Create data migration strategies and plans, including scope, timeline, quality checks, and risks.
• Document all data migration procedures and modifications.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations during data migration
• Should have worked with application like DMS, DMA, SSIS, etc, SQL; D365 data import export framework knowledge is add on.

• Implement scalable data models and ETL processes using SSIS and Power Query.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.

• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.

• Support data migration, integration, and validation activities.

• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Document processes, queries, and data flows for future reference.

• Contribute to data migration and integration projects, especially involving ERP systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development, DMS, DMA, SSIS

• Proven expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL code.

• Strong understanding of relational databases, indexing, procedures, joins and query performance.

• Hands-on experience with SSIS and Power Query for ETL and data transformation.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, CRM, etc.).

• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
