Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for our client. The Senior Project Engineer acts as a design authority within an engineering discipline of medium complexity. The role involves managing and delivering engineering assignments across multiple moderate-sized projects or major project segments in a cost-effective manner while ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as a Technical Lead and approve design deliverables.
2. Review project documentation for compliance with safety, cybersecurity, quality, and contractual requirements.
3. Anticipate and resolve complex and unprecedented design challenges.
4. Serve as a specialist in applying advanced engineering methods and concepts.
5. Define focus areas and priorities to ensure technological excellence.
6. Report integrity, compliance, safety, quality, cybersecurity, and cost issues to management.
7. Ensure engineering activities comply with safety and cybersecurity regulations.
8. Verify that the Bill of Materials (BOM) meets contractual obligations.
9. Manage and implement approved change/variation requests.
10. Ensure technical closure of the project as per contract requirements.
11. Collaborate closely with the Project Manager from contract receipt through project closure.
12. Prepare RFQs and perform technical evaluation of supplier proposals.
13. Coordinate with manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and service teams.
14. Work directly with customers to deliver solutions and drive improvements.
15. Support proposal preparation and engineering presentations.
