Senior Electrical Harness Designer

We are looking for a senior Electrical Harness Designer to join an environment focused on customized vehicles within the defense domain. You will work close to engineering stakeholders and contribute to both maintenance and development initiatives, including country-specific adaptations and broader development projects.

• Answer and investigate PRS requests
• Provide support and coaching to other harness designers
• Review CATIA and Saber drawings
• Troubleshoot deviations identified on vehicles
• Handle and drive Field Quality issues
• Contribute to maintenance projects and development initiatives (including country-specific needs)

• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• At least 6 years of experience within automotive and EMC
• Several years of experience with Scania’s electrical system
• Experience with systems typically used for defense trucks
• Strong skills in Saber and CATIA V5 for circuit diagrams, cable harness design, cable routing, and mounting drawings
• Experience reviewing Saber and CATIA drawings
• Experience using 3DExperience
• Ability to use OAS to create changes in KS, write ECOs, and review ECOs
• Fluent English
• Basic Swedish, with an intention to learn
• Ability to manage a high workload
• Ability to pass a background check

• Experience with Customized Truck development processes
