CAE Engineer (Structural Analysis)

Role Overview:

We are currently hiring a Senior CAE Engineer on behalf of our client. This role focuses on advanced structural analysis within product development, offering the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while contributing to innovation in simulation methodologies.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing structural mechanics simulations across the full product development lifecycle. This includes supporting design validation, improving simulation accuracy, and introducing enhanced computational methods to address evolving engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct structural and mechanical simulations during various stages of product development
• Plan, organize, and execute analysis activities within project timelines and constraints
• Support the evolution and implementation of new simulation techniques and calculation methodologies
• Interpret and communicate simulation outcomes clearly to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design robustness and performance
• Manage multiple analysis tasks simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables

Experience Required:

• Several years of hands-on experience as a CAE Engineer or Structural Analysis Engineer
• Proven track record of working in time-sensitive engineering projects

Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Structural Mechanics

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in CAE and structural analysis principles
• Proficiency in ANSA / µETA (MetaPost)
• Experience working in Linux environments
• Working knowledge of tools such as Nastran and ADAMS
• Basic programming skills, preferably in Python
• Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with LS-DYNA
• Familiarity with advanced simulation environments and scripting
• Exposure to multi-body dynamics and nonlinear analysis tools

Language Requirements:

• Swedish – Fluent (spoken and written)
• English – Fluent (spoken and written)
