For one of our key clients, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, iOS to join a long-term assignment in Gothenburg.

Your Role – Mission Description

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain the client’s iOS application
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend, QA) to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app
• Debug complex technical issues and identify solutions to improve stability and user experience
• Stay up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and trends in iOS development
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Swift code
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Contribute to the technical design and architecture of the application
• Participate in the full software development life cycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement

Your Profile – Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in iOS development (typically 5+ years)
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Swift
• Deep understanding of iOS application development: Architectures (MVC, MVVM, VIPER or similar)
• Design patterns and UI frameworks
• Tools and SDKs
• Asynchronous server communication (REST APIs, JSON, networking frameworks)
• Performance and UX optimization
• Proven experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex systems
• Track record of leading, planning, and executing the development of core features and modules for iOS applications
• Ability to work effectively in a large cross-functional team, clarifying requirements and aligning stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills: able to dive into complicated, unique problems, define a clear path forward, and drive work to successful completion
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban or similar)
• Fluent English skills, oral and written
